Summer
Some suggestions for walks and excursions from the house:
- The ancient trail, the mule track to Bulla (Pufels). This path leads you over a trail paved with local stones to a charming mountain village by the name of Bulla, at the foot of the Alpe di Siusi. In the upper part of the ancient path there is an extensive rose garden with some 6,000 roses. In the center of Bulla you can visit the church of San Leonardo dating back to the thirteenth century.
- A special attraction are the mills of Bulla, where even our own ancestors of Stroblhof went to grind their grain, primarily barley and rye. Two of these mills were restored a few years ago and are now functional and able to grind. During the summer, guided tours are organized for the public.
- For seasoned mountain lovers it is about a three hour hike to the Alpe di Bullaccia, while the Alpe di Siusi can be reached in 2.5 hours.
- It is advisable also to take a pleasant hike up to Pas Pinei in about an hour. From there, you will find the starting point of the so-called "Geotrail Bulla ", an interesting geological trail that leads visitors through a fascinating journey back in time to discover the geological past of Val Gardena.
